Getting back to business
HELP celebrate the achievements of a local business by nominating them for our city’s top industry gong.
The 2018 Hume Business Awards acknowledge the valuable contribution businesses make to the Hume economy and the wider community.
Last year, Campbellfield’s American-themed burger outlet, Burgies, won the best restaurant/cafe of the year.
Since winning the award, Burgies co-owner Ibo Safi said business had skyrocketed.
“We’ve just opened up our second store in Hoppers Crossing and we’re looking at opening up store number three in Dandenong,” he said.
“We believe in employing members of the local community and sourcing ingredients from local suppliers."
“Unlike many businesses in hospitality, we don’t cut corners when it comes to quality.”
Nominations can be submitted by business owners, employees of the business, business associates, clients or customers. The awards cover a range of categories, including tourism and sustainability.
